Dancing Chicken BBQ

Never before has it been so easy to cook a nice and juicy piece of meat. It is even flavoured as you like it! With its simple but clever design, Dancing Chicken allows you to grill the chicken, piece of meat or fish as usual but the primary product is steamed from the inside out and flavoured as you like it.

Very easy to manage! Look at the movie in the bottom of the page.

Here's a quick explanation of how to use it. But there is so much more you can do than just chicken!

dc11. Stuff the chicken under the skin with some kind of spice. Thanks to the spear that is included in the set, you can easily make an opening in the skin.

The spear is also used if you want to BBQ a roast or whole fish.

dc32. Stuff the chicken with chilli and garlic or any spices that you like. This gives you a fantastic tasty chicken.

dc33. Fill the cup with any liquid you like the flavour of. In this example I use white wine. Thanks to the cup with liquid, you get a very tender meat and extraordinary taste experience.

dc44. Put the cup with flavour liquid inside the chicken by putting the chicken on top of it. Place the chicken in oven or on the grill in a standing/sitting position, with the base of the cup down. On the BBQ; BBQ with the lid on top. If you use an open BBQ, you can use a stainless steel casserole up side down or similar.

Oven

Approximately 175 degrees C. If you have a circotherm oven you can lower the temperature a few degrees. Depending on the size of the chicken, 50 - 70 minutes is recommended. Take a pan and heat up the liquid which you are going to use or heat it up in the "DC-cup" on a hot plate. Please remember that it is hot so use a pot-holder when moving it.

BBQ

When grilling, do not place it directly over the glowing embers but grill over indirect heat. Use a BBQ with a lid. You can also use a stainless Casserole as a lid. Time on grill 30 - 110 minutes (depending of the weight of the meat and the BBQ heat). Try controlling the heat by using the damper on the grill.

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken, fish or piece of meat 1/2 dl of marinade. It can be made of beer, wine, whiskey, cider, apple juice, vinegar, cordial etc. The possibilities are endless!

Marinade using beer as base.

Leave your choice of meat to marinade in the marinade over night as this will bring out the flavours even better.

½ dl of dark beer

1dl of cooking oil

4 - 6 garlic cloves

1 tbs of dried thyme

1 tbs of honey

½ tbs of cumin

1 tbs of oregano

1 tbs of lemon pepper

1 teaspoon of liquid smoke (optional).

Thanks to the amazing ability of cast iron to retain and distribute heat you can leave the "DC-cup" as it is. You can cut the chicken standing up.

Something fun for your guests to watch!
