Festive biscuits
Heart shaped griddle no. 0038, 0038T
12 biscuits
Ingredients:
75 g of butter
1 1/4 dl of sugar and oats respectively
1 tbs for cream or milk
2 tbs of flour
Preparation:
Place the ingredients - except the flour - in a pan and let them all melt together without boiling. Add the flour. Drop the dough (approx. 1 tsp) on an greasepaper covered baking tray. With substantial space in between! Remember the biscuits spread into one another. The biscuits can also be made in a buttered griddle. Heat for approx 12 mins. at 175 C. Loosen the biscuits while they are still hot.
Variations:
*By forming oatmeal biscuits over small aluminium forms as soon as they come out of the oven you get decorative dessert bowls. Fill the bowls with fluffy vanilla cream, decorate with berries and serve them on a mirror of strained raspberries.
*The biscuits can also be served double with butter cream in between. Do not place them together until just before they are to be served or they will become mushy. Powder them with icing sugar to achieve a more professional look. A nice butter cream is made by mixing 50 g of butter at room temperature, 1 dl of icing sugar and 1 tsp of ground instant coffee.
