Preparing Coal buns
Frying pan no. 180
Outdoors 2 h
8 portions:
Ingredients:
400 g of salted pork
1 l of water
5 1/4 dl of flour
1 3/4 dl of barley meal
salt
Preparation
Mix water, flour and barley meal into a smooth mixture. To avoid lumps, pour the flour into the water while mixing. Dice the salted pork into 5 - 6 mm large pieces. This batch will make four coal buns. Therefore, shred and fry a quarter of the pork on the spirit stove or in a frying pan over a fire until it is fried crisp. Add salt if necessary. Thereafter, the pork is mixed with a quarter of the mixture in the frying pan and the bun is fried for approx. a minute on both sides. Turning the bun over is best done with a stylish flip. All done! Serve with lingonberry jam and milk or lingonberry juice to drink.
