Waffles with tuna mix

Waffle iron no. 0010

Ingredients:
1 packet (ca 200 g) waffle mixture
cooking fat according to the directions on the box
water according to the directions on the box.

Mix:
1 packet (140 g) of bacon
1 tin (200 g) of tuna in water
1 piece of leek, approx. 10 cm
1 red pepper
2 dl light crème fraiche
2 - 3 tbs of sweet chili sauce
1/2 tsp of salt
2 tbs of chopped coriander

Preparation
Cut the bacon into thin shreds. Fry the bacon without extra cooking fat in a frying pan until it has got a nice colour and become crisp. Leave it to drain off on kitchen paper.

Leave the tuna to drain off. Rinse and cut the leek into thin rings. Rinse, remove the seeds and finely dice the pepper. Flavour the crème fraiche with sweet chili sauce and salt. Add bacon, tuna, vegetables and coriander.

Prepare the waffle mixture according to the directions on the box. Use the mixture to make waffles in the waffle iron. Place them one at a time on a grating and keep the oven at 125 C.

Serve the newly baked waffles with the tuna mix and a mixed salad.

Serve the first waffles with a tuna mixture and then the dessert waffles with berries and ice cream.
