Ulla's lazy steak with potato wedges
Sauté pan no. 0250, 0250T, 0285T, 0130 S, 0610WB
4 portions
Ingredients:
600 g of minced beef
1 egg
1 tsp of salt
2 pinches of pepper
1 - 2 pressed garlic cloves
1 tbs of butter
1 dl of single cream
1 tsp of concentrated veal stock
Potato wedges:
800 g of potatoes with peel
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tbs of rape oil
Extras:
200 g of diced feta cheese
2 tomatoes in small pieces
1 tsp of chopped rosemary
Preparation:
1. Set the oven to 250 C Rinse and slice into potato wedges. Place the wedges in a roasting tray lined with greaseproof paper. Salt and drip the oil on top. Bake in the middle of the oven for 20 - 30 min. Stir halfway through.
2. Mix mince, eggs, salt, pepper and garlic in a bowl. Stir until properly mixed. Heat the butter in a non-stick frying pan, 24 cm diameter. Place the mix in the pan as one large steak and flatten.
3. Fry at medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes to get a nice colour. Flip using a spatula and fry for another 2 minutes. Lower the heat and pour the cream and veal stock around the steak. Sprinkle with feta cheese, tomatoes and rosemary. Let the steaks simmer under a lid on low heat for another 3 - 4 minutes.
4. Serve with potato wedges.
