”Base” knowledge

To achieve the best possible cooking results, even heat is required. For safety reasons, a vessel must always stand securely on the stove irrespective of the make of stove. To achieve this, the form of the vessel bottom has to be thick and concave enough. This is very important today as most new stoves are so-called ceramic hobs (glass hobs).
