An introduction to elementary induction
For induction stoves/hobs, all of Skeppshult's products are the obvious choice. Induction is a concept within physics which means that a current is generated (inducted) if a conductor is moved close to a magnetic field.
”Base” knowledge
To achieve the best possible cooking results, even heat is required. For safety reasons, a vessel must always stand securely on the stove irrespective of the make of stove. To achieve this, the form of the vessel bottom has to be thick and concave enough. This is very important today as most new stoves are so-called ceramic hobs (glass hobs).
Care advise
The most exciting factor with a cast iron utensil is that, regardless of what source of heat is used, it is the best there is. Without any significant changes, cast iron pans have been used since cooking was carried out on open hearths from coal and firewood iron stoves to the gas, electric, ceramic and modern induction stoves of today.
